We are looking for a highly organized individual to join our team. This individual will serve as our front desk receptionist to assist with greeting and scheduling patients and answering the phones. A background in billing and insurance verification is preferred for this position. The following will be key responsibilities this individual will be responsible for: 1. Patient Interaction: – Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the chiropractic office. – Ensure patients complete essential paperwork. Staff is expected to be knowledgeable about paperwork in order to answer any questions that arise. – Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar. – Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address patient inquiries. 2. Administrative Tasks: – Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. – Handle billing and insurance claims, including verifying insurance information. – Process payments, issue receipts, and manage financial transactions. 3. Assisting Chiropractic Procedures: – Assist with warm ups and rehabilitation before and after Chiropractic adjustments – Assist chiropractors with therapies or treatments as directed. – Educate patients on exercises or home care recommended by the chiropractor. 4. Documentation: – Ensure that all necessary patient documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. 5. Communication: – Communicate effectively with patients to relay information about treatment plans, appointments, and other relevant details. – Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or staff members within the chiropractic practice. – Effectively communicate with company’s C.O.O regarding clinic operations 6. Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: – Keep the reception area, treatment rooms, and other common areas clean and organized. – Sterilize and maintain equipment as needed. 7. Marketing and Promotion: – Assist in promotional activities and marketing initiatives to attract new patients. – Distribute promotional materials or information about chiropractic services. 8. Compliance: – Stay informed about and adhere to relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards. 9. Professional Development: – Stay current with industry trends and advancements through ongoing education and team trainings. 10. Team Collaboration: – Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient office operations. – Support a positive and collaborative work environment. This individual will need to be moral, reliable, hard-working, adaptable, and health conscious. Our ideal candidate would be someone who is described as a self-starter and has initiative. Excellent communication and organization skills, as well as attention to detail, empathy, and professionalism when dealing with patients is a must. Candidates with familiarity with medical terminology, insurance, and basic Chiropractic philosophy and principles will be prioritized.
