Position Summary:As the Front Desk Receptionist at FLEXX, you will be responsible for supporting the effective operation of the clinic and the acquisition and retention of patients by communicating with all potential patients who contact the clinic. In this role, you will be highly patient facing and require a high level of organization and multitasking. You will be welcoming patients into the office, collecting payments, filing paperwork and creating a remarkable customer service experience. As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for many patients entering the building so it is expected that you present yourself in a professional manner that positively represents our clinic. Performance Objectives: xe2x97x8f Schedule new patients as well as follow up appointments xe2x97x8f Prepare waiting room and facilities for patient arrival and end of day to set the next day up for success. xe2x97x8f Greet and manage new patient intake which includes creating a comfortable environment, check-in, paperwork completion and verification, collecting all payment and scanning and updating patient information (insurance, ID, etc.) xe2x97x8f Ensure all patients are appropriately processed at the end of treatment xe2x97x8f Maintain charts in an orderly fashion and ensure accuracy. xe2x97x8f Answer incoming calls and make cold calls while taking notes or messages xe2x97x8f Educate the patient on the services provided in the clinic xe2x97x8f Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude Capabilities/Key Competencies:xe2x97x8f Multitask in a fast-paced environment xe2x97x8f Exceptional interpersonal skills to quickly and effectively connect with patients and staff xe2x97x8f Entrepreneurially orientated, driven to succeed and a commitment to achieve results xe2x97x8f Self-starter who can work independently and as a team within existing processes or operate effectively with ambiguity xe2x97x8f Ability to overcome objections with confidence xe2x97x8f Coordinate and balance needs of the patient and the clinic xe2x97x8f Strong oral and written communication skills xe2x97x8f Plan, organize, prioritize and streamline skills xe2x97x8f Team orientation and strong collaborator xe2x97x8f Present self in a professional and positive manner in attitude and appearance at all times xe2x97x8f Ability to maximize and apply internal systems, processes, and platforms xe2x97x8f Understand, align with and communicate the clinics mission, vision, and values xe2x97x8f Desire to define and take massive action to accomplish your own personal, professional and financial goals Education & Experience:xe2x97x8f High School diploma required xe2x97x8f 2-3 yearsxe2x80x99 work experience in reception, sales, customer service or related field preferred xe2x97x8f Experience in a multi-physician practice preferred Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
