We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and professional individual to join our team as a receptionist. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from the moment they walk through the door. Job Responsibilities: Greeting Patients: Welcome patients with a positive attitude and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process. Scheduling Appointments: Manage patient appointments, ensuring accuracy in the calendar, and confirming appointments via phone, email, or text. Patient Intake & Documentation: Collect patient information, insurance details, and medical history for each visit. Assist patients with forms as needed. Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries. Communicate with insurance companies regarding eligibility and coverage. Answering Phones: Answer incoming calls promptly, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff. Office Organization: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, manage patient flow, and ensure a smooth daily operation. Data Entry: Enter and update patient information into the practice management system accurately. Other Administrative Duties: Assist with filing, faxing, scanning, and other office duties as assigned by the chiropractor. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent: College experience preferred but not required. Previous Experience: Prior experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting (healthcare office experience is a plus). Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with patients in a courteous and professional manner. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain a tidy workspace, and stay on top of appointments and schedules. Technical Skills: Familiarity with office software (e.g., MS Office Suite), experience with chiropractic management software a plus. Attention to Detail: Ability to handle patient information accurately and confidentially.
