Job Description Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist needed for a fast-growing, busy office in Lutz, FL. We are a private-pay, cash-only office as we are not in-network with insurance companies. While traditional chiropractors do a great job at reducing muscle spasms, increasing the range of motion, and temporarily alleviating pain. We offer a comprehensive solution to your health concerns secondary to your spine and nerve system without ever twisting, popping, or cracking the neck. Job Description Greet patients when they enter the clinic. Schedule patient appointments via phone, email, or instant messaging on the computer. Explain fees to patients and accept payment. Care plan and financial meetings with the patient. Perform data entry in the clinicxe2x80x99s computer systems. Describe products available for purchase at the office. Keep patient files up to date. Enter appropriate charges and process payments. Assist the doctor with re-examinations, laser and shockwave therapy. Help walk our therapy dogs (Dallas the husky & Swanson the corgi). Who are we looking for? No experience in chiropractic, wellness, or alternative medicine is required but it is recommended. Sales background and customer service background is preferred. We are happy & willing to train the right individual. There are, however, some particular things we are looking for: A genuine love for people and seeing others succeed in getting healthier. Patient and helpful phone skills. Sales background to talk with patients about their care plan financials. Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Great work ethic. Ability to communicate effectively. Happy, outgoing, and positive attitude; no matter the situation. An incredible multi-tasker with the ability to anticipate needs before they happen. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you must communicate with our patients and other business partners daily via phone and email professionally and concisely. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Quick learner xe2x80x93 we are looking for someone that can master a skill after no more than two teaching moments. Typing requirement: 60+ wpm. Ability to learn new skills quickly and independently; work efficiently without supervision. Humble individual who can accept constructive criticism and improve. Part-Time Position This is a part-time position. Worked hours will vary from 26-33 hours/per week, depending on our volume. Compensation will be based on experience and will be discussed during interviews. Working Hours Monday & Wednesday: 7:00am – 12:00pm (BREAK) 2:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday & Thursday: 2:00pm – 6:00pm Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm (Worked hours may fluctuate due to daily schedule/patient volume.)
