Responsibilities:- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar- Collect patient information and update medical records accurately- Assist chiropractor with patient examinations and treatments as needed- Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication with patients- Process insurance claims and verify insurance coverage for patients- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality- Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Previous experience in a medical office or chiropractic setting preferred- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus- Familiarity with office equipment, including phone systems and computers- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as Dentrix- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with patients Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
