Job Summary:We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our Sound Precision Chiropractic team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. We have been serving the El Cerrito community for over 40 years and would love for you to join us in our mission! Responsibilities:- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk operations- Assist chiropractors with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms- Maintain electronic health records following HIPAA guidelines- Handle medical billing, insurance claims, and patient inquiries- Perform medical administrative tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations Requirements:- Experience in a healthcare/healing office setting preferred- Proficiency in medical terminology and scheduling software.- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical receptionist duties- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Certification or training in medical administrative support is a plus Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 – $21.50 per hour Expected hours: 20 xe2x80x93 30 per week Benefits: Employee discount On-the-job training Paid time off Paid training Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Customer service: 2 years (Preferred) Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred) Computer skills: 3 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: El Cerrito, CA 94530 (Required) Ability to Relocate: El Cerrito, CA 94530: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
