Join our team as a Chiropractic Front Desk Assistant and be the welcoming face of our practice! As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is friendly, efficient, and positive from the moment they walk through our doors. Responsibilities: Welcoming Patients: Greet patients warmly as they arrive, making them feel comfortable and valued from the outset. Scheduling Appointments: Efficiently manage appointment schedules, coordinating with chiropractors and other staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Answering Inquiries: Respond promptly and knowledgeably to patient inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing information about services, pricing, and appointment availability. Processing Payments: Handle patient payments, insurance claims, and billing inquiries accurately and professionally, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Maintaining Records: Organize and update patient records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations. Assisting with Administrative Tasks: Support chiropractors and administrative staff with various tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management. Assisting the Chiropractic Doctor: on some therapies on patients. Training will be provided. Managing Waiting Area: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with reading materials, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. Communicating with Providers: Relay important messages and updates between patients and chiropractors, ensuring clear and timely communication. Requirements: Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, ideally in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Basic understanding of chiropractic terminology and procedures is a plus. Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems for appointment scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.
