If this describes you and you have a heart to help people as well as be part of a motivated team, this job is for you!POSITION SUMMARYAs the Front Desk/Receptionist, you will be responsible for supporting the effective operation of the clinic and the acquisition and retention of patients by communicating with all potential patients who contact the clinic. In this role, you will be highly patient facing and require a high level of organization and ability to multitask. You will be welcoming patients into the office, collecting payments, filing paperwork, assembling patient charts and creating an overall remarkable experience. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVESSchedule out care plans for new patients as well as follow-up appointmentsPrepare waiting room and facilities for patient arrival and end of day to set the next day up for successGreet and manage new patient intake which includes creating a comfortable environment, check-in, paperwork completion and verification, collecting all payment and scanning and updating patient information (insurance, ID, etc.)Ensure all patients are appropriately processed at the end of treatment each dayMaintain charts in an orderly fashion and ensure accuracy.Answer incoming calls and make calls while taking notes or messagesEducate the patient on the services provided in the clinicConsistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitudeCAPABILITIES/KEY COMPETENCIESMultitask in a fast-paced environmentExceptional interpersonal skills to quickly and effectively connect with patients and staffEntrepreneurially orientated, driven to succeed and a commitment to achieve resultsSelf-starter who can work independently and as a team within existing processes or operate effectively with ambiguityAbility to overcome objections with confidenceCoordinate and balance needs of the patient and the clinicStrong oral and written communication skillsPlan, organize, prioritize and streamline skillsTeam orientation and strong collaboratorPresent self in a professional and positive manner in attitude and appearance at all timesAbility to maximize and apply internal systems, processes, and platformsUnderstand, align with and communicate the clinics mission, vision, and valuesDesire to define and take massive action to accomplish your own personal, professional and financial goalsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma required2-3 yearsxe2x80x99 work experience in reception, sales, customer service or related field preferredExperience in a multi-physician practice preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods of both standing and sitting at a desk and working on a computerThe physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
