HeadacheAway Brain & Spine Center is an Integrative medical office, incorporating a Neurologist, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, and Massage Therapist. We offer high-end compassionate healthcare for patients presenting with brain and spine conditions. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our amazing team! Someone who is compassionate, empathetic, motivated, passionate, eager to work and learn, a team player, experienced and has exceptional communication skills. Qualifications: Strong Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel, Email, Windows 11 Ability to work under pressure and execute duties in a fast pace environment Desire and ability to work and multi-task in a professional effective way Strong organizational skills Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with patients and other staff. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English- detail orientated and organized. Ability to prioritize tasks, follow directions accurately and meet deadlines Ability to work independently without supervision Responsibilities: Front desk duties, answering phone lines, scheduling appointments, responding to emails and faxes, checking in/out patients, collecting payments. New patient intakes for Neurologist, Chiropractor, Massage services and scheduling appointments. Obtain authorization for treatment and enter information in to the computer Chart/paperwork preparations, scanning, and filing. Assist patients in understanding how to complete forms and verify accuracy of those forms. Work as a team with other staff members in order to provide excellent service and teamwork Maintain an orderly and professional working atmosphere Properly dressed according to the approved dress code Adhere to all guidelines Greeting patients in a friendly way, Escort patients to exam rooms Helping with Doctor orders Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff Communicate with insurance companies for preauthorization and billing procedures Performing pre-authorizations for procedures Handle all interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Free parking Schedule: 8 hour shift No weekends Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) Vital signs: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
