Our work environment includes: Safe work environment On-the-job training Flexible working hours Position Overview:We are seeking a versatile, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our chiropractic clinic as Front Desk Staff. In addition to providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within the clinic, the Front Desk Staff will play a crucial role in assisting with administrative tasks for our chiropractic temp agency, Locum Chiropractic. Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable. Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments. Assist patients with completing intake forms and updating personal and insurance information accurately. Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims in compliance with chiropractic regulations. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about chiropractic services and treatments. Collect payments, including copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances, and reconcile financial transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, treatment rooms, therapy area, common areas, and bathrooms. This includes regular cleaning and sanitization to uphold clinic standards. Assist chiropractor with patient therapies, including helping patients onto therapy equipment and monitoring their progress. Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Collaborate with chiropractor and other healthcare professionals to address patient needs and concerns. Manage electronic health records (EHR) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records. Assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract new patients and retain existing ones. Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents. Coordinate coverage for chiropractic clinics through Locum Chiropractic, including matching coverage doctors with clinics requesting services. Assist with invoicing and billing processes for Locum Chiropractic clients. Calculate and process payroll for coverage doctors working through Locum Chiropractic. Be willing to learn and adapt to other new responsibilities not listed here. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus. Previous experience in a medical or chiropractic office preferred, but not required. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EHR software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to customer service. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information. Flexibility to assist with patient therapies, administrative tasks, and occasional occasional change in work hours. Benefits: Competitive hourly pay with potential for raises and bonuses.
